Our work focused on building awareness of the Dresden Music Festival’s ambitious Wagner Cycles.
Since 2023, the Dresden Music Festival has been producing historically informed performances of Wagner’s Ring operas beginning with Das Rheingold and continuing each year with one of the Ring operas. This will continue through 2026 in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Ring Cycle.
Cellist Jan Vogler has been Intendant of the Dresden Music Festival since 2009.
